These are the documents submitted by the Summers End Group to support their application for a Coastal Zone Management (CZM) permit for the development of the water-based portion of the marina. The application is known as a “CZM Major Water Permit”.
The main component of the Major Water permit is the construction of a 145 wet slip marina, accommodating 10,000 feet of boats, with fuel supply, fresh water supply, and septic pump-out facilities.
The main pier extends 965′ into the harbor. The “Site Limits” as shown on the Army Corps of Engineers drawings encompass roughly 28 acres of submerged lands.
The proposed marina, as described in the application, is shown below superimposed on an aerial view of Coral Bay harbor (the boats in the marina and in the mooring fields were added to the SEG drawings in order to show a fully populated field of boats, since the SEG drawings only depicted an empty marina):
