The Legislature’s Committee on Economic Development convened a hearing on November 13, 2024, which included testimony from the Summers End Group and their paid professional advisors.

Nobody in the community of Coral Bay was invited to testify, or was even notified of the hearing.  Nobody from the families most directly impacted by the actions of Summers End was invited to testify.  In short, it was a one-sided “dog and pony show” with Chaliese Summers and her legal team espousing all of the supposed virtues of their project, while ignoring all of its detriments and harm to the community.

Needless to say, we will respond.
