SEG Lawyers Claim Falsely That Army Corps Permit is Imminent

In written testimony provided to the Legislature for the July 7, 2020 meeting of the Committee of the Whole, two of SEG’s lawyers stated that the Army Corps permit for Summers End would be issued “imminently” if the Legislature ratified the CZM permit and trust land lease.  This was obviously not true, as they should have known at the time, and as we well know now.

In addition to the testimony from the SEG lawyers, Save Coral Bay transmitted a letter from Attorney Robb Fox which detailed the ACTUAL status of the SEG permit at the Army Corps.  The Legislature chose to ignore the facts, and side with SEG.

All three letters are shown below, with portions of the SEG testimonies highlighted.
