On February 1, 2017, we sent a letter to the United States Army Corps of Engineers formally requesting that they deny the permit requested by the Summer’s End Group due to the failure of SEG to respond to the Corps’ request for information. This letter was signed by almost two thousand individuals.

During October 2015 the Army Corps sent SEG a detailed letter identifying over 100 serious issues and concerns which SEG was required to answer. These issues had been raised by the public, by federal agencies, and by the Corps themselves. SEG was given one year to provide a response. After not receiving ANY response in fifteen months we wrote the letter below requesting that the Corps deny the permit.
