SEG Powers of Attorney

The Powers of Attorney granted to SEG by the owners of 13 Remainder, 13-A, and 13-B were all limited to a grant of authority to “apply for permits.”  None  of these PoA’s granted SEG the authority to perform construction.  The PoA’s were also limited in time.

In their CZM Permit Application, SEG swore that they had the “irrevocable power …”  This was untrue at the time it was said, and should have resulted in the CZM permit application being deemed “incomplete” by DPNR.  It should also have resulted in a rejection of the Army Corps permit application once USACE was notified that SEG did not have the authority to conduct the development described in the USACE permit application.
